Abstract:
This scroll compressor is provided with a fixed scroll (15), a turning scroll (16) supported so as to be capable of a revolving turning motion, and a discharge port through which fluid compressed by the scrolls (15, 16) is discharged, an end plate of the turning scroll (16) being provided with an end-plate-side step part (16E) formed so that the height is high in the center and low at the outer ends along the lap spiral, and a wall body of the fixed scroll (15) being provided with a lap-side step part (15E) corresponding to the end-plate-side step part (16E), the lap-side step part (15E) being formed so that the height is low in the center of the spiral and high at the outer ends, wherein a surface-hardening treatment is performed on the turning scroll (16), and no surface-hardening treatment is performed on the fixed scroll (15).
