Abstract:
The objective is to eliminate a restriction on increasing the involute pitch in a stationary scroll, while maintaining the functionality of a frame compliant mechanism, and without providing Oldham grooves into which the pawls of the Oldham ring mate at the outer peripheral portion of the fixed scroll when the position of the pawls of the Oldham ring is changed. Therefore, a scroll compressor is equipped with: a stationary scroll (3) having stationary spiral teeth (3b); an orbiting scroll (4) having orbiting spiral teeth (4b) opposing the stationary spiral teeth (3b); a compliant frame (5) supporting the orbiting scroll (4) from a surface opposing the orbiting spiral teeth (4b); a guide frame (6) into which the compliant frame (5) is inserted; and an Oldham ring (7) surrounding the outer periphery of the compliant frame (5) and preventing rotation of the orbiting scroll (4). Oldham grooves (4d, 6c) having a mutually orthogonal phase difference are provided respectively on the orbiting scroll (4) and the guide frame (6), and pawls (7a, 7b) which mate with the Oldham grooves (4d, 6c) are provided on the Oldham ring (7).
