Abstract:
There is a demand for a scroll compressor capable of supplying a sufficient amount of oil to an orbiting bearing even under conditions where the concentration of oil within a closed container is low. This scroll compressor (100) comprises a closed container (1), a stationary scroll (9), an orbiting scroll (10), an orbiting bearing (13), a slider (16), the main shaft (4) of an electric rotary machine (7), an oil pump (22), an eccentric shaft section (4a), and a cutout section (16m) formed in a part of the outer peripheral surface (16b) of the slider (16). The cutout section (16m) comprises a first cutout section (16e) which is formed on one end side thereof and a second cutout section (16d) which is formed on the other end side so as to have a greater cutout cross-sectional area than the first cutout section (16e) when viewed in the direction of the axis (C). A stepped section (16f) is provided between the first cutout section (16e) and the second cutout section (16d).
