Abstract:

Provided is a scroll compressor that can reduce shaft voltage and can achieve space savings for an entire device. A scroll compressor 100 that has: a rotor 32 that is housed inside a motor casing 14; a stator 31 that is housed inside the motor casing 14 and rotationally drives the rotor 32; a rotary shaft 12 that is held by bearings 33, 34 and rotates integrally with the rotor 32; an end bracket 16 that has one end part of the rotary shaft 12 passing therethrough and closes the motor casing 14; an orbiting scroll 34 that supports another end part of the rotary shaft 12 and moves in an orbital manner as a result of the rotation of the rotary shaft 12; a fixed scroll 33 that is arranged to face the orbiting scroll 34; a suction-type cooling fan 13 that is fixed to the one end part of the rotary shaft 12 at an interval from the end bracket 16, that, as a result of the rotation of a rotary blade 131 that is housed inside a fan cover 132, sucks in outside air through a suction port that is provided in an end surface 132A of the fan cover 132, and that generates, inside the fan cover 132, cooling air that cools the fixed scroll 43 or the orbiting scroll 44; and an anti-static brush 60 that is fixed to the end bracket 16, which faces the cooling fan 13, and contacts the rotary shaft 12 at one end.
