A first scroll (11) has a first wrap (112). A second scroll (12) has: a second wrap (122) moving in an orbiting manner relative to the first scroll and provided to an outer peripheral compression section (131); and a third wrap (123) provided to an inner peripheral compression section (132). The first wrap has: an outer peripheral, inward-facing sliding contact surface (112c) included in the outer peripheral compression section and facing radially inward; an inner peripheral, inward-facing sliding contact surface (112j) included in the inner peripheral compression section and facing radially inward; and an inner peripheral, inward-facing relief surface (112k) included in the inner peripheral compression section and facing radially inward. The outer peripheral, inward-facing sliding contact surface is formed by a part of a first involute curved line (L1), and the inner peripheral, inward-facing sliding contact surface is formed by a part of a second involute curved line (L2) disposed offset inward relative to the first involute curved line. The inner peripheral, inward-facing relief surface is disposed such that, regardless of at which orbiting position the second scroll is located, the inner peripheral, inward-facing relief surface is separated from a third wrap.
