Abstract:
Provided is a scroll compressor capable of suppressing a reduction in coolability of a radially outer section of an orbiting scroll. The scroll compressor includes a cooling fan 25 and a cooling-air introducing path 28 that introduces cooling air generated at the cooling fan 25 into the surroundings of cooling fins 20 of an orbiting scroll 12. The cooling fins 20 include: an n-th cooling fin that is located at one side in the width direction of the cooling-air introducing path 28 parallel to an array direction of the cooling fins 20 and at an outer side of the cooling-air introducing path 28; an (n-1)-th cooling fin that is adjacent to the n-th cooling fin at the one side; and an (n+1)-th cooling fin that is adjacent to the n-th cooling fin at the other side. The leading edge of the n-th cooling fin is located downstream of an imaginary straight line connecting the leading edge of the (n-1)-th cooling fin and the leading edge of the (n+1)-th cooling fin.
