Abstract:

An overall rotation type scroll fluid machine in which a motor is provided in the casing and scroll members on both the driving and driven sides are rotated for compressing a cooling medium, in which a boss is formed in a desired shape in the casing and the shaft of coupling for rotating the scroll member on the driving side is mounted on the outer periphery of the boss, the shaft being additionally used as the rotating shaft of the motor and the boss supporting the driven shaft of the scroll member on the driven side. Thus, conventionally separately provided parts are collected in one place and the length in the axial direction can be reduced, thereby making reduction in the machine size possible.
