Abstract:
This scroll fluid machine secures the strength of both a driving scroll and a driven scroll so as to be able to cope with larger sizes and higher rotation speeds. A drive shaft (4) is received (11, 12) at both ends in the axis direction. The driving scroll (6) is provided with a driving lap (5) on one surface of an end plate (13). The driven scroll (8) is arranged such that a driven lap (7) meshes with the driving lap (5), and is borne (21, 22) eccentrically from the driving scroll (6). The driving scroll (6) is arranged between the end plate (17) of a driven scroll cap (9) and the end plate (14) of the driven scroll (8).
