Abstract:
Provided is a scroll fluid machine capable of, even when a sliding bearing is used as a main bearing, smoothly supplying oil and reducing an axial load exerted on an auxiliary bearing. The scroll fluid machine is provided with a back pressure chamber (39) formed between a center plate (7) and the back surface of an end plate (31) of a movable scroll (22). A main bearing (18) is formed of a sliding bearing. The back pressure chamber is partitioned into a first back pressure chamber (39A) located on the opposite side of the movable scroll when viewed from the main bearing and a second back pressure chamber (39B) located on the movable scroll side when viewed from the main bearing. The first back pressure chamber and the second back pressure chamber are connected in a radial clearance between the main bearing and a drive shaft (14). The discharge side of a scroll mechanism (4) is connected to the first back pressure chamber.
