Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a scroll fluid machine in which an intermediate-pressure refrigerant can be reliably introduced during a compression step and which can improve compressor efficiency. This scroll compressor (1) comprises a fixed scroll (18) and an orbiting scroll (19). In a first end plate (18a) or a second end plate (19a), an injection port (26) is provided for supplying into a compression chamber (20) a fluid with a higher pressure than the fluid pressure in the compression chamber (20), and a first region is configured in which, after sealing of a compression chamber (20) has started, capacity change of the compression chamber (20) becomes gradual or approximately constant. The first region is configured such that the first region starts when the ratio of the pressure difference P2 between the refrigerant pressure Pm in the first region and the suction pressure Ps, to the pressure difference P1 between the pressure Pinj of the refrigerant supplied through the injection port (26) into the compression chamber (20) and the suction pressure Ps, is greater than or equal to 20% and less than 100%. The injection port (26) is provided in the first region.
