Abstract:

A scroll type compressor, comprising a fixed scroll (21) fixed to the inside of a casing (10) and a movable scroll (22) meshing with the fixed scroll (21), wherein the movable scroll (22) is pressed against the fixed scroll (21), a pressing force of the movable scroll (22) against the fixed scroll (21) is provided by a pressure in a high-pressure space (S2) acting on the rear surface side of the movable scroll (22), and the pressing force is regulated according to a variation in compression ratio caused by a variation in operating conditions, whereby a reduction in efficiency and a mechanical loss can be prevented from occurring.
