Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a scroll type fluid machine provided with a rotation-stopping mechanism that can reduce noise emitted outside of the scroll type fluid machine by damping vibration transmitted from a movable scroll to a casing. [Solution] A scroll type fluid machine (1) provided with a rotation-stopping mechanism (36) for stopping the rotation of a movable scroll (16) without hindering revolving rotational movement of the movable scroll relative to a fixed scroll (14) fixed to a casing (4), wherein the rotation-stopping mechanism has a support hole (42) provided through either a base plate (16a) of the movable scroll or a pedestal part (4a) of the casing, a rotation-stopping pin (38) inserted through the support hole and protruding to the other of the base plate or the pedestal part, a restricting hole (46) provided through the other of the base plate or the pedestal part and accommodating the rotation-stopping pin loosely fitting therein, and a buffer member (44) interposed between the support hole and at least the rotation-stopping pin of the restricting hole in the support hole.
