Abstract:

This seal device for a turbine is provided around a rotor so as to separate a high-pressure space and a low-pressure space. The seal device for a turbine is provided with: a plurality of thin plates that are arranged along the outer circumferential surface of the rotor and that each comprise a thin plate tip surface which faces the outer circumferential surface of the rotor; a first side plate that is provided so as to face the high-pressure space and that covers the outer circumference-side region of a first side surface of the plurality of thin plates on the high-pressure space side; and a second side plate that is provided so as to face the low-pressure space and that covers the outer circumference-side region of a second side surface of the plurality of thin plates on the low-pressure space side. The first side surface of each of the thin plates is covered by the first side plate further toward the interior in the radial direction of the rotor than the region of the second side surface that is covered by the second side plate. The positions of the thin plate tip surfaces of each of the thin plates in the radial direction are distributed such that the high-pressure space sides thereof are further separated from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor than the low-pressure space sides thereof in at least a part of the range of the thin plate tip surface in the axial direction of the rotor. The position of the thin plate tip surface in the radial direction at the position that is closest to the high-pressure space in the axial direction is positioned further toward the interior in the radial direction than the inner circumferential edge of the first side plate.
