Abstract:
PPS film excelling in heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance is used in at
least a portion of a seal film for solar cell to thereby not only reinforce the seal
film in deterioration by external environment but also inhibit deterioration
of the gas barrier property thereof by long-term use having been a problem of the
prior art so as to attain environment resisting properties (resistances to heat,
hydrolysis, weather, chemical, etc.) of good balance, realizing a seal film
markedly excelling in long-term reliability. Further, there is provided a solar
cell module utilizing the seal film. The seal film for solar cell module is one
comprising a resin film layer having a layer of biaxially oriented film consisting
of a resin composition composed mainly of poly-p-phenylene sulfide and comprising
a gas barrier layer constituted of at least one member selected from the group
consisting of a metal, a metal oxide, an inorganic compound and an organic compound,
wherein the longitudinal and width direction heat shrink ratios at 150°C
of the seal film for solar cell module both fall within the range of -2.0% to +2.0%,
and wherein the absolute value of any difference between the longitudinal and
width direction heat shrink ratios at 150°C is 2.0% or below.
