Abstract:

Disclosed is a seal member for micro-powder, wherein the sealing properties of toner which is micro-powder for a developing roller or the like, such as an electro-photographic image processor or copying machine have been improved. Specifically disclosed is a seal member (1) for preventing leakage of micro-powder (10) from a rotating body such as a developing roller, wherein the seal member (1) of the rotating body of an image forming device using toner (10a) of the micro-powder (10) comprises base fabric (2) consisting of knitting or fabric, loop-shaped pile yarn (3a) or cut-shaped pile yarn (3b), which is supported on the surface of the base fabric (2) by the entanglement or support of ground yarn (2a) of the base fabric (2), and a coating layer (4a) which has penetrated from the back surface of the base fabric (2) to which a coating agent (4) is applied to the side of pile yarn (3), and wherein the height of the coating agent (4) which has penetrated from the back surface of the base fabric (2) is made the same as or less than the thickness of the base fabric (2) which is configured by the height of the ground yarn (2a) which supports the pile yarn (3), that is, the ground yarn (2a).
