Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to manifest a fluid sealing function in a short time when starting a pump to pump the fluid. Provided are a seal ring and a sealing device using same, said seal ring being characterized by having a first side face 20, a second side face 30 that is the side face on the side opposite to the first side face 20, and a first side face projection 40 that is provided on the first side face 20, and in that the tip 42 of the first side face projection 40 projects furthest to the outside of the first side face 40 compared to the entire face of the first side face 40 excluding the tip 42.
