Abstract:
Provided is a seal ring capable of providing a stable lubricating performance in a wide rotation range. The seal ring 1 provides a shaft-seal in a gap between a rotating shaft 2 and a housing 3, and has, in a slide surface S1: a plurality of inclined grooves 15 for generating a dynamic pressure which are arranged in the circumferential direction and closed on the radially outer side; and a supply groove 13 which opens on the side of a fluid to be sealed and communicates with the radially inner side of the inclined grooves 15.
