Abstract:
A seal ring (1) is annular around an axis (x), and comprises one side surface (1a) that is an annular surface facing one side in the axis (x) direction, and another side surface (1b) that is an annular surface facing the other side in the axis (x) direction. At least one of the one side surface (1a) and the other side surface (1b), upon coming into contact with one or another of applicable movable scroll and thrust plate, forms a gap (1c) with the one or other of these two members. The gap (1c) gradually decreases due to wear caused by contact of at least one of the one side surface (1a) and the other side surface (1b) with one of the movable scroll and the thrust plate.
