Abstract:

A seal segment (11) is provided with: a retainer that extends on the outer circumferential side of a rotating shaft in the circumferential direction (Dc) of the rotating shaft; a first seal body (13) that extends inward in the radial direction (Dr) from the retainer and that comprises a plurality of first thin plate seal pieces (20) layered in the circumferential direction (Dc); a low pressure-side side plate and a high pressure-side side plate (23) that are supported so as to be sandwiched between the first seal body (13) and the retainer and that cover one side of the first seal body (13) in the axial direction (Da) thereof across the circumferential direction (Dc); and a second seal body (33) comprising a plurality of second thin plate seal pieces (40) that are layered on the end of the retainer (21) in the circumferential direction (Dc), that extend inward in the radial direction (Dr), and that have higher fluttering resistance than the first thin plate seal pieces (20). The high pressure-side side plate (23) and the low pressure-side side plate cover at least part of the second seal body (33) in the circumferential direction (Dc).
