Abstract:
This sealed battery is characterized by being provided with: an electrode laminate which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separator; an electrolyte; an outer case; a first lead terminal; and a second lead terminal. This sealed battery is also characterized in that: the first and second lead terminals are respectively provided with an electrode connection part, an external connection part, and a sealing part; the first or second lead terminal is provided with a conduction part; the conduction part is provided such that at least a part of the conduction part is in contact with the outer surface of the outer case directly or indirectly; the outer case has a conductivity or an apparent thermal conductivity of from 10 W/(m·K) to 250 W/(m·K) (inclusive); and the electrode laminate and the electrolyte contained in the outer case have an effective thermal conductivity of from 10 W/(m·K) to 100 W/(m·K) (inclusive) in a steady state.
