Abstract:
A sealed roller bearing, wherein a sealing plate (8) is provided between an outer ring (1) and an inner ring (3), an outer diameter (11) side of the sealing plate (8) is fixed to the outer ring (1), a lip (13) on an inner diameter (12) side is slidably brought into contact with the inner ring (3) or a clearance is kept between the lip and the inner ring to assure sealability, the sealing plate (8) has a projection part (19) on the outer side face (18) thereof, and the projection part (19) forms a clearance (29) between that part and a part (25) around the bearing to further increase a sealing capability, whereby a sealing is assured not only by the lip part but also by a clearance between the projection part and the part around the bearing so that the sealing capability can be increased without increasing a cost.
