Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulating tank comprises secondary edge insulating blocks (111) arranged in the form of a first longitudinal row parallel to the arris, and secondary current point insulating blocks (11) arranged in the form of a second longitudinal row parallel to the arris, and primary edge insulating blocks (113) superposed on the secondary edge insulating blocks (111), and primary current point insulating blocks (13) superposed on the secondary current point insulating blocks (11). The first longitudinal edge of the primary edge insulating block (113) is aligned with the first longitudinal edge of the secondary edge insulating block (111), and the second longitudinal edge of the primary current point insulating block (13) is aligned with the second longitudinal edge of the secondary current point insulating block (11). Metal corner pieces (49, 44) are arranged on the edge insulating blocks in line with the arris (3), and strakes (30) are placed flat on the current point insulating blocks (13, 11).
