Abstract:
The invention relates to a sealed tank (100) having a plurality of tank walls including a first wall (106) and a second wall (104) that are parallel to a first direction (101) and two end walls (108) that are orthogonal to the first direction and connect the first wall and the second wall, each tank wall successively comprising, in the thickness direction from the outside to the inside of the tank, a thermally insulating barrier held against the corresponding bearing wall and a sealing membrane carried by the thermally insulating barrier, the sealing membrane of each of the first wall, the second wall and the end walls having a series of corrugations (118) that are parallel to one another and perpendicular to transverse edge corners (107) formed by the first wall or the second ceiling and the end walls, the parallel corrugations being spaced apart so as to form, in a direction parallel to the transverse edge corners: - a plurality of identical regular intervals (120), each regular interval being formed between two adjacent corrugations, and - at least one singular interval (122) that is different from the regular interval.
