Abstract:
Provided is a sealed type gripper that can realize a reduction in thickness and prevent impairment of operability. A sealed type gripper comprising: a gripper body; a plurality of master jaws; a plunger; and a piston. The piston is slidable in the axial direction in a cylinder chamber formed in the gripper body, divides the cylinder chamber into first and second cylinder chambers in the axial direction, and has the plunger mounted at the tip thereof. The plunger has a plurality of engaged parts that engage with engagement parts of the master jaws, respectively. The engaged parts are each disposed radially with respect to the center of the plunger. The engagement parts and the engaged parts are each inclined to gradually approach the central axis from the front side toward the back side.
