Abstract:
A sealing apparatus for closing the plastic bag comprises a base, a sealing slot inclining inside disposed in one side of the base, a tape reel slot holding an adhesive tape reel in the other side, a guide member adjacent to the sealing slot, and a severing means below the guide member, a fore guide wheel and a back guide wheel connected to the base between the sealing slot and the tape reel slot, and a folding device disposed between the fore guide wheel and the back guide wheel. The folding device in the moving direction of the tape comprises a baffle which disposed upon the inside edge of the adhesive tape and pre-folding the inside edge of the adhesive tape, a slant guide inclining outside and folding back the inside edge of the adhesive tape, and a guide tape block or press roller pressed the folded edge of the tape. The lowest point of the guide tape block or press roller is higher than the lowest of the fore guide wheel. The seal apparatus can fold one side edge of the tape to make two adhesive surfaces of the tape form a narrow margin which does not adhere to each other without affecting the seal of the package. Thus the adhesive tape can be easily peered off the package.
