Abstract:
An annular sealing device 10 for sealing between a fixed-side member 2 and a rotation-side member 5 supported so as to be rotatable relative to the fixed-side member, is characterized by being provided with: a core body 16 that is attached to the fixed-side member; a seal body 17 that has a plurality of seal lips 171, 172, 173 in proximity to or in slidingly contact with the rotation-side member and that is fixed to the core body; a connection part 20 that is provided to at least one of the seal lips and formed so as to connect a space defined by the seal lips with a space adjacent thereto; and an index part 13 that is provided so as to enable recognition of the circumferential-direction position of the connection part.
