Abstract:
Disclosed is a sealing device for a resin tube container which resolves the various problems associated with temperature drops by making the distance which the tube container moves from the heating position to the clamping position shorter than in a conventional system. The sealing device seals an opening in a resin tube container filled with contents on the opposite side to an aperture that is closed by a cap. The device comprises a heating station and a clamping station which are disposed in a vertical arrangement, and a crank drive mechanism for actuating a mechanism which opens and closes a gripper of the clamping station for clamp-sealing the opening in the tube container in the horizontal direction, and affords a reduction in the actual height of the clamping station.
