Title:
SEALING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/021473
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a sealing device in which, when a shaft is eccentric and rotates, stress concentration to a bellows section is moderated. A sealing device (100) is provided with: a stationary section (110) affixed to the inner peripheral side of a shaft hole in a housing (200); a thin-walled bellows section (120) extending in a bellows shape from the stationary section (110) toward the surface of the shaft (300); and a seal section (130) provided inside the bellows section (120) in the radial direction. The sealing device (100) is characterized in that one surface of the bellows section (120) has formed thereon protrusions (121) extending from the outside inward in the radial direction and has formed therein recesses (122) extending from the outside inward in the radial direction, the protrusions (121) and the recesses (122) being formed alternately in the circumferential direction. The sealing device (100) is also characterized in that the other surface of the bellows section (120) has formed therein recesses (123) located directly on the reverse side of the protrusions (121) provided on the one surface and has formed thereon protrusions (124) located directly on the reverse side of the recesses (122) formed in the one surface. The sealing device (100) is further characterized in that the bellows section (120) is configured so that the wall thickness (t) thereof is substantially uniform over the entire circumference of the bellows section (120).
