Abstract:
Provided is a sealing device with which sealing performance against foreign substances can be improved while avoiding increases in sliding resistance with respect to the object of application. A sealing device main body (10) is provided with a reinforcing ring (11), and an elastic body part (21) formed from an elastic body attached to the reinforcing ring (11). The elastic body part (21) has a side lip (22) formed so as to come into contact with a slinger (30) from the inner side, a radial lip (23) formed so as to come into contact with the slinger (30) from the outer peripheral side, and an outer peripheral ring protrusion (24) that is is an outward-protruding ring-shaped protrusion provided farther to the outer peripheral side than is the side lip (22). The slinger (30) has a fitting part (31), and a flange part (32) extending toward the outer peripheral side from an outer-side end of the fitting part (31). The elastic body part (21) and the flange part (32) of the slinger (30) together form a labyrinth seal between the outer peripheral ring protrusion (24) and the side lip (22).
