Abstract:

Provided is a sealing device configured so that, when a shaft and a housing move relative to each other, the sealing device is prevented from moving with the shaft. A resin seal ring 100 is provided with: a circular cylinder section 110; a pair of inner peripheral lips 120 respectively provided on both axial sides of the circular cylinder section 110; a pair of outer peripheral lips 130 respectively provided on both axial sides of the circular cylinder section 110; and an annular mounting groove 111 which is provided in the outer peripheral surface of the circular cylinder section 110 and in which an elastic material seal ring 300 is mounted. A sealing device is characterized in that the inner peripheral surface side and the outer peripheral surface side of the pair of inner peripheral lips 120 decrease in diameter toward lip tips 121 with increasing distance from the circular cylinder section 110, the lip tips 121 being capable of sliding on the outer peripheral surface of a shaft. Both the inner peripheral surface side and the outer peripheral surface side of the pair of outer peripheral lips 130 increase in diameter toward lip tips 131 with increasing distance from the circular cylinder section 110, the lip tips 131 being in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole in a housing.
