Abstract:
This sealing device has a first seal member and a second seal member, which are mounted to a housing and with which the outer peripheral surface of a rotating shaft is in contact in a slidable manner. The front ends of a plurality of first hooks formed on the first seal member are engaged with the front ends of a plurality of second hooks formed on the second seal member to restrict the movement of the second seal member in an axial direction away from the first seal member. The front ends of a plurality of first stoppers formed on the first seal member are in contact with a plurality of second stoppers formed on the second seal member to restrict the movement of the second seal member in the axial direction toward the first seal member.
