Abstract:
This sealing film is arranged between an exterior package and a lead conductor connected to a positive electrode or a negative electrode in a secondary battery covered by the exterior package. The sealing film is characterized by being a multilayer sealing film of three layers obtained by forming a core layer and skin layers on both surfaces thereof. The sealing film is also characterized in that the core layer contains a polypropylene having a melting point of 158-166ºC and a melt flow rate (MFR) of 1-3 g/10 min, the skin layers contain a polypropylene having a melting point of 128-150ºC and a melt flow rate (MFR) of 1-7 g/10 min, the Charpy strength of the core layer is at least 15 kJ/m2, the thickness of the sealing film is 30-300 μm, and the ratio of the thickness of the skin layers to the thickness of the core layer is 0.2-5. The sealing film is used to produce a secondary battery having excellent insulating properties and sealing performance.
