Technical problem The invention resolves the technical problem of full and long lasting sealing of space between the piston and a cylinder, without weakening of tightness when the gasket wears out.
Technical state Former construction of a sealing gasket (or ring) in the cases is quadrangle or rectangle shape in profile and it has the diameter larger that the diameter of the piston (and a cylinder) which is cut straight or in oblique or axial direction, then the radius of a gasket shall be shortened in purpose that it could be pressed and put into the piston channel and together with the piston into the cylinder. The diameter of a gasket larger than the cylinder diameter is necessary because it shall be shortened in the process of friction and the gasket shall enlarge in the cylinder and provide the sealing but the distance of cuts shall enlarge and the air, fluid etc. shall leak more and more and the pressure, actually sealing, shall weaken. In order to improve the sealing it is necessary to build in several gaskets with the crossed turned cut on a piston in purpose to make the way of air or fluid leaking longer and in accordance to the sealing shall be better.
The significance of the invention The essential idea of this invention is to work out the clearance of the front of the composition of the gasket in order to avoid the weakening of the sealing of the gasket caused by wearing out and to reduce the number of gaskets. This invention solves the problem with the three types of gaskets. The first type has the ends (axial direction) one passing by the other, the length of passing by can be from
few degrees to one circle and more (depending of the needs and purposes of the gasket). At the gaskets ends the safety fuses are placed.
The leaning interior sides of the passing by ends provide the sealing. The second type of gasket has the ends curved in the shape of L profile axial direction so that L profile fit one into another and their inner folding surfaces provide the sealing with mutual axial leaning. Caused by frictions of the gasket, the front composition of L ends enlarges, but in axial direction L surfaces are always leaning to one another (and under pressure formed in the cylinder) provide the full sealing until the total wearing out of the gasket. The third type of gasket has the ends curved in the shape of L profile in radial direction and radially fit one into another. Caused by friction of the gasket, the front composition of L ends enlarges, but the interior radial L surfaces provide the sealing by their mutual pressure. With the second and the third type of gaskets, the matching, wearing out and lasting of the gasket sealing is established by the length of the curved L shaped ends. The main characteristic of all three type of gasket is that one gasket could be sufficient for long lasting sealing. That means: reducing the total pressure of gasket on the interior of the cylinder, reduced friction and easier moving, reduced weight of movable mass and greater speed of the direction change of the piston motion etc. these gasket constructions are applicable with interior combustion engines and the increase the number of revolutions and the strength of the engine. They are also applicable to compressors for air, fluid etc.
The main characteristic of the gasket is the long lasting, constant and full sealing.
