Abstract:
Disclosed is a sealing mask for selectively supplying a sealant to some through-holes in a honeycomb structure and which comprises a disc-shaped exterior, a plurality of through-holes, and a pair of orientation flats disposed at the edge of the disc and separated in a circumferential direction. An angle (θ) formed between the orientation flats and a vertical line that passes through the center (P) of the disk is not 180° and the lengths of the pair of orientation flats are different. This enables the provision of a sealing mask with an easily recognizable front and rear.
