Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealing material whereby a plurality of work pieces processed to a desired length can be delivered in a sheet-shaped state. The present invention has a sealing material body (10) configured from a sealing member (13) disposed on a double-sided adhesive tape (12) disposed on a release paper (11), and the sealing material body (10) is formed in a sheet shape, and in formation of a plurality of desired work pieces (10a) from the sealing material body (10) formed in a sheet shape, the double-sided adhesive tape (12) and the sealing member (13) are continuously cut at predetermined intervals and the release paper (11) is intermittently cut at predetermined intervals so that expressions (1) through (3) are satisfied, where H is the thickness of the work pieces (10a) and W is the width of the work pieces (10a).
(1): 1.0 mm ≤ H ≤ 30 mm
(2): 1.5 mm ≤ W ≤ 30 mm
(3): 1/3 ≤ H/W ≤ 2
