Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sealing member of improved external appearance that is capable of preventing the intrusion of liquids such as drugs or water into the main case from the joint section of the main case, and an electronic instrument provided with the sealing member. [Solution] The sealing member (500), which is disposed to secure the liquid-tightness of the joint section of the main case (2) of an electronic instrument, has a u-shaped cross-section and is provided with: a first portion (501) that is disposed inside the joint section of the main case (2); a second portion (502) that is disposed to the inside of the joint section at a distance from the first portion (501); and a connecting portion (503) that connects the first portion (501) to the second portion (502).
