Abstract:
A sealing structure of fuel cell and method for manufacturing the same, in this
structure, a gas separator, a gas diffusion layer, catalyst on one side, a proton
exchange membrane, and catalyst, a gas diffusion layer, a gas separator on the
other side, are in turn stacked, wherein an area of the gas diffusion layer on the
other side is smaller than an area of the proton exchange membrane, the area of
proton exchange membrane is not larger than an area of gas diffusion layer on one
side, the area of gas diffusion layer on one side is smaller than an area of the area
of gas separator on one side, therefore the shape of the edges of these elements
are the step-shape. The reverse step-shape corresponding to the step-shape
is filled with cured sealing material for sealing.
