Abstract:
[Problem] To secure a sufficient anchoring force for an optical fiber in a solder sealed region. [Solution] The sealing structure for an optical fiber according to the present invention comprises a sleeve, an optical fiber inserted through the sleeve, and a solder for sealing between the inner wall of the sleeve and the optical fiber. A stripped portion of the optical fiber is located inside the sleeve. An anchor portion that projects from the stripped portion while being anchored on the stripped portion is provided at a part of the stripped portion with a curable resin hardened on a binder applied to the stripped portion. The solder is applied to seal the anchor portion and the periphery of the stripped portion where no anchor portion is provided.
