Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seam band in which a decorative part protruding from a connection part of a fabric is positioned at the center thereof without being biased to either side when covering an interior product for a vehicle. The seam band is configured to have a core material and a decorative part protruding by means of bonding of a band fabric surrounding the core material. The band fabric forms the decorative part having the center protruding in the state where two layers of fabric are bonded together to the upper and lower sides of the core material and the core material is embedded therein, and wing parts configured to spread to both sides of the decorative part. The decorative part and the wing parts join two layers of fabric composed of a support fabric and a cover fabric by means of a joint part, and the joint part consists of a first fusion line for fixing the core material at a boundary between the decorative part and the wing parts and a second fusion line for joining the support fabric and the cover fabric while cutting the edges of the wing parts, wherein between the first fusion line and the second fusion line, the two layers of fabric are not joined but in a separated state to provide a space, such that the core material of the seam band is firmly fixed while providing a sense of volume to the wing parts.
