Abstract:
Provided are a seamless can body in which the formation of wrinkles at an interface between an area where a foam ink layer is formed and the other areas can be prevented even if a neck forming process by die-neck processing is performed, and a method for manufacturing such a seamless can body. In a seamless can body (1) of which a neck forming part (3) is provided with a printing area by a foam ink, the neck forming part (3) is provided with a first area (11) consisting of a printing area by a foam ink and a second area (12) other than the first area (11) and has a gradation portion (5) which extends toward a boundary (13) between the first area (11) and the second area (12) and in which the amount of the foam ink is gradually reduced.
