Abstract:
A search keyword-based light spot prompting method and search keyword-based light spot prompting device. The method comprises: detecting information entered by a user; extracting a keyword from the information entered by the user, and retrieving, according to the keyword, a video which contains a progress bar light spot of the keyword; and hiding progress bar light spots of other keywords other than the keyword entered by the user in the retrieved video, and displaying the progress bar light spot of the keyword entered by the user. The method enables, according to a content entered by a user, the user to see a light spot prompt in the progress bar of a video, thereby providing better user experience.
