Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a search method and an electronic device, wherein the search method is applied to the electronic device. The method comprises: in response to an input of a user, an electronic device acquiring an initial query, wherein the initial query comprises a first abstract concept; the electronic device determining a first search result according to a first target query, wherein the first target query comprises a first instantiation concept, and there is a first mapping relationship between the first instantiation concept and the first abstract concept; and the electronic device displaying a query result interface, wherein the query result interface comprises the first target query and the first search result. By means of the search method and the electronic device provided in the present application, a query, which is input by a user and comprises an abstract concept, can be converted into a corresponding instantiation query, thereby facilitating an improvement in the search precision and the search efficiency, and an improvement in the usage experience of the user using the electronic device.
