Abstract:
A seat air-conditioning device that is applied to a seat (2) installed in a vehicle compartment and that uses a stream of conditioned air generated by a vehicular air-conditioning device (3) installed in the vehicle to air-condition a space around a passenger (4) seated in the seat (2). An air passage (10) is configured such that the stream of conditioned air generated by the vehicular air-conditioning device (3) flows outside or inside the seat (2) and is blown onto the passenger (4) seated in the seat (2) or into the space therearound. A stream direction changing member (20) is provided inside the air passage (10), and is able to change the direction of the stream of conditioned air blown from the air passage (10) or the direction of the stream of conditioned air flowing in the air passage (10). An operation member (30) is disposed so as to be heated or cooled by the stream of conditioned air flowing in the air passage (10), and is able to move the stream direction changing member (20) with the property to linearly expand/contract according to temperatures.
