Abstract:
The air intake opening section (17) of a seat air-conditioning device is disposed within a seat, and a first air intake opening (17a) and a second air intake opening (17b) are formed in the air intake opening section. A blower (12) is disposed within the seat and discharges air having been taken in through one or both of the first air intake opening and the second air intake opening, toward the rear of the seat. When the door device (19) moves in the direction in which the door device (19) opens the first air intake opening, the door device (19) also moves in the direction in which the door device (19) closes the second air intake opening, and when the door device (19) moves in the direction in which the door device (19) closes the first air intake opening, the door device (19) also moves in the direction in which the door device (19) opens the second air intake opening. A surface (801) of the seat has a vehicle occupant support surface (802) for supporting the body of a vehicle occupant. The first air intake opening is disposed so that air having flowed into the seat from the vehicle occupant support surface is taken into the blower through the first air intake opening. The second air intake opening is disposed so that air having flowed into the seat from the portion (803) of the surface of the seat other than the vehicle occupant support surface more easily flows into the second air intake opening than into the first air intake opening.
