Abstract:
This seat air-conditioning device is provided with a blower (11) which generates an air flow and a seat back (5) which supports the upper body of a sitter. The seat back includes: a cover (52) which is disposed on the front side and is air-permeable; and a back pad (51) in which are formed a plurality of ventilation holes (510) that are on the front side and that the air flow induced by the blower flows through, and a ventilation path (511) that is in communication with the plurality of ventilation holes. The portion of the seat back which is exposed on the sitter side is equally divided into the following six portions, starting from the lower side thereof: a first back part (P1); a second back part (P2); a third back part (P3); a fourth back part (P4); a fifth back part (P5); and a sixth back part (P6). In the back pad, the area occupied by ventilation holes per unit area of a thoracic vertebrae corresponding part (51D), which corresponds to the third and fourth back parts, is greater than the area occupied by ventilation holes in portions other than the thoracic vertebrae corresponding part.
