A backrest (4) of a seat (1) comprises: a pressure receiving member (41) which is provided between a left side frame (40b) and a right side frame (40b) that are arranged on the left and right and which is longitudinally rockably provided; and a cushion pad (48) which covers the front face of the side frame (40b) and the front face of the pressure receiving member (41). The pressure receiving member (41) comprises a main body part (41a) and left and right extending parts (41b) which extend to the left and right respectively from the left and right sides of the main body part (41a). The cushion pad (48) comprises a back receiving part (48a) which covers the front face of the main body part (41a) and a bank part (48b) which is provided so as to bulge forward from both the left and right sides of the front face of the back receiving part (48a) and covers the front face of the extending part (41b) and the front face of the side frame (40b). A recess (48g) is formed at a position which is opposite the extending part (41b) of the rear side face of the bank part (48b).
