An engagement portion (6b) of a tongue (6) is provided with recesses (6e, 6f) which prevent the engagement portion (6b) from interfering with tongue insertion guide portions (7b7, 7b8). When the engagement portion (6b), in a state tilted relative to an engagement portion insertion direction (α), is inserted into a buckle (7), said recesses (6e, 6f) prevent the engagement portion (6b) of the tongue (6) from interfering with the tongue insertion guide portions (7b7, 7b8) and rotating, making it possible for the engagement portion (6b) to be inserted in an tilted state into the buckle (7). Consequently, even if the engagement portion (6b) of the tongue (6) is inserted into the buckle (7) in an tilted state, interference of the engagement portion (6b) to the tongue insertion guide portions (7b7, 7b8) is prevented, a passenger feels that the tongue (6) is inserted properly, giving the passenger a positive feeling.
