Abstract:
A seat cushion pad and seat back pad for a vehicle, which provide natural seating comfort at an under-buttocks portion, backrest portion, and other portions. The seat surface, excluding the under-buttocks portion, of the seat cushion pad is partly or entirely formed from a material Q having density lower than that of a material P forming the under-buttocks portion. The 25% hardness of the material Q, which hardness is according to a hardness test method of JASO-B408, is lower than the 25% hardness of the material P. The seat back pad, excluding the backrest portion, is formed partly or entirely from a material S having density lower than that of a material R forming the backrest portion. The 25% hardness of the material S, which hardness is according to the hardness test method of JASO-B408, is lower than the 25% hardness of the material R.
