Abstract:
A star-shaped base (3) on a seat device (1), which in particular may be used for office chairs, work chairs, stools or standing aid devices. In order to provide such a seat device (1), a seat surface (9) may rotate or swing. Meanwhile, there is no need to change parts installed at the upper end of a seat post (8), and there is especially no need to change a support structure (10), a seat support (12) for placing the seat surface (9) and the seat surface (9) itself. The seat surface (9) may rotate or swing by: modifying the parts of the seat device (1) installed at the lower end of the seat post (8), that is, installing a movable star-shaped base (3). The star-shaped base (3) is characterized in that at least one among extending arms (5) installed on a hub (4) is hinged with the hub (4) and may rotate relative to the hub (4).
