Abstract:
Convex parts (23e) protruding from a first side surface (23b) are disposed in an external gear (23). Two arc-shaped protruding parts (24d) are disposed at a second side surface (24c) in an internal gear (24), and the internal gear (24) is linked to a second frame (22) due to both of the protruding parts (24d) coupling with the second frame (22). In a first side surface (24b) of the internal gear (24), two arc-shaped concave parts (24f) are disposed corresponding to the amount of protrusion of the protruding parts (24d) at locations opposing both protruding parts (24d). Both concave parts (24f) are formed in such a way that the convex parts (23e) are inserted into both two concave parts (24f) when an external tooth (23a) and an internal tooth (24a) engage with each other, and both concave parts (24f) come into contact with the convex parts (23e) at predetermined relative rotation positions when the external gear (23) and the internal gear (24) rotate relative to each other, to thereby regulate the relative rotation of both gears (23, 24) within a fixed range. A reclining device is therefore realized which has reduced width in the axial direction.
